SOLAƧ was born from many dreams nurtured over the years by Mélanie Fournier and André Rondeau. Partners in life since 2000 and proud parents of three children, their journey has taught them that some of life’s most beautiful moments are those when time seems to stand still.

After dedicating part of their lives to the Canadian Armed Forces, Mélanie and André are now beginning a new chapter. SOLAƧ brings together their experiences, passions, and shared desire to create something deeply human and truly reflective of who they are.

Their professional backgrounds and education are as diverse as they are complementary. André, with training in welding, management, and leadership, brings his practical expertise, organizational skills, and experience in project management. Mélanie’s path has taken her through many fields, guided by a constant curiosity and desire to keep learning. Her studies, volunteer involvement, and experience in management and real estate have shaped a journey deeply rooted in human connection, guidance, learning, and sharing knowledge.

In choosing to make Edmundston their home, they envisioned a place that reflects who they are: SOLAƧ – Boreal House of Beauty & Wellness. Inspired by the serenity of the boreal landscape and the Gaelic word Solas, evoking light, comfort, and warmth in the darkness, SOLAƧ was imagined as a haven where one can slow down, unwind, and take time for oneself.

What inspires them: that every encounter be wrapped in warmth, bring a sense of calm, and leave each person with a little more light within.
